Hi everyone,

Ive got a 2017 Transit connect and I’ve been offered some alloys for it from a 2019 Connect know I know the 2019 has a 14mm x 1.5mm stud and mine has a 12mm x 1.5mm stud my question is will these fit and will I need some sort of adapter/conversion kit I have spoke to a alloy wheel specialist who says it will bolt straight on and be fine can anyone help me please?

    As I said in your other post in my acceptable wheels section, I fell you should be fine as the actual drill holes may or may not be the same size. Meaning that if the wheels are set up for the newer TC, the lug holes could be M14 which would be larger then your M12's. if this is the cause you may need modified longer shank lugs to fill the void. My main concern is if there is any play within the lug holes going from M14 to M12 and you'll need the correct lug to us the wheel.

    The other issue is the center bore of the wheel. Which from my specs looks to be the same. This is all based on the options between your van and the other van. But seems things would work, Just opt for the correct acorn lugs.

    As for spacer, they could be used but I wouldn't.
