Does anyone know if a 2019 ST Line is likely to have the wiring in place for powerfold mirrors?

I brought the wife a 3 door model and doesn’t have any of the nice touches that I’m used to in my ST like the below:

- Powerfold mirrors

- Ambient lighting

- footwell lights

looking to add what I can for her.

Do you have mirrors that fold at the push of a button? If so, it could be that the autofold option has been disabled via the Settings that can be changed via the right-hand steering wheel button - I did this with mine. Look for settings/vehicle settings/mirrors/autofold.

If not, then it won't be just a case of fitting the replacement mirrors, but also some software or parameter change. People who know lots of info about Forscan might be able to point you in the right direction on this one.

As above, is it that you don't have power fold, or that you don't have auto fold?

Secondly, I think that the footwell lights are part of the ambient lighting package. To be honest, I have ambient lighting and footwell lights and don't find it very helpful at all - unlike my old BMW which actually illuminated the centre console so that I could see what I was doing. I wouldn't bother trying to retrofit the Ford system, is what I'm saying. 

But you could rig up an aftermarket LED strip that comes on with the ignition and stick it just above where your feet go - probably less than a fiver.
