Lainy1983
Hi guys and thanks for accepting me, hope this is ok and not put in the wrong place. I’ve got 2006 fiesta st150 had to replace the instrument cluster and have got my pats sorted out but am trying to get my mileage back up to normal, current cluster shown 104k but I need it increased to 126k for mot that’s due. I can do mileage correction on cars from 2008 onwards but can any one tell me how it’s done on this or a way I can read the chip and also which chip it would be, also if doing it by hex dec which lines I need to alter, fairly new to Ford as was vw for a while so not done mileage on these yet, understand forscan doesn’t allow it but would think if can program keys then would at least be able to increase mileage . Any help would be great, thanks
alanfp
As far as I know, correct mileage is not a requirement to pass an MOT, if that's what you're thinking. I have an old(er) car that has previously had a speedo change and it just wasn't an issue for MOTs - It's just that the MOT history looks odd! I'd just leave it.
Lainy1983
Yes it was more so for the mot history and people commenting on the mileage, I managed to do it using a digipro3 tool in minutes so all good now, thanks
