JoshLee1297
I've just accidentally broke a hose whilst putting the airbox back in as per the attached pics. I don't actually know what this hose is or how important it is. I'm due to drive my car later this week (only around 40 miles) and just wondered if it will be safe to drive and fix afterwards or if I'll be causing any damage/encounter any issues ? I started the car up afterwards and left running for about 20 mins, revved the engine, held at 3000rpm for around 30 seconds etc and it seemed to run absolutely fine with no new noises or lights on the dash. Any advice on this will be greatly appreciated - many thanks in advance! (P.S. this for a 2017 Ford Fiesta ST200)
unofix
Opps !!! Just get some "Super Glue" or "Araldite rapid" and stick it back together, otherwise I think you may get an Engine management light come on, probably with a DTC warning of MAF problem.
