Don't wait 6 months before you get it done, they have a nasty habit of failing long before they are due. You won't save more than a few pounds using independent garages (and many won't touch the 1.0 ecoboost timing belts any way).
aot871
I have been to my local dealers and was quoted about £1500
unofix
Probably a little more since you have an Echoboost. 🤔 It is normally only up to £1200 for a regular 1.0 Ecoboost at a half decent Ford dealer, but times are hard and the garages need to keep the profits rolling in. I think garages have upped labour costs tbh. I was quoted £700 for the belt change on the 1.6 TDCI recently. I did wonder if the lack of new car sales over the last couple of years has forced them to raise labour rates on servicing.
