Focus mk1.5 trip computer

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, I just did retrofit of trip computer in my FF 2003 facelift. Problem is that everything shows up but consumption is way too high for 1.8 tddi. It does show 4.5l/h on idle and when drive average around 20l/100km. On idle its a bit erratic. Usually stay at 4.5+/- but sometimes goes down to 1.8, 2.*. When i give a bit gas to make car shake it is even more erratic. SO my guess is connection. Before retrofit there was no wires for trip computer. I installed all wires. according to ford diagram trip computer goes to pcm via two wires, One of them was already there so i sliced another just wire and pin number 12 on C63 was no wire but on C61 was male end with pin. Now, question is where else to look? Should be there any voltage from pcm to trip computer or is it like 1 and 0? Maybe install some resistor?
