Oil Life setting in Forscan

Featured Replies

From having the Focus mk4 diesel from 6 months old there has always been a rest oil life option in the IPC on the dashboard. When you change the oil you simply use the "ok" button to reset after an oil change.

Now,  since the car went in for the PTM  recall ( Powertrain module update) and a further software update that the technician was unwilling to say what it was at the time.

Since then the oil life reset option has been removed and I would like to put it back just so I don't have to use Forscan all the time to simply reset it.

I have looked for it in the IPC settings and have enabled what options there are but to no avail. It point blank refuses to show on the dash.

Is there somewhere else to look that I'm missing ?
