Auto high Beam

Featured Replies

Hi all

Have a problem with the auto high beam after 4 years it has now started to come on,  and does not pick up the oncoming traffic, anyone else had this problem, and if so is it a easy fix, I feel like I've brought a dud car, any help would be great

IPMA (CAMERA) probably needs either re-calibrating or the firmware updating

A problem with AHB is not something I would have considered as "a dud car". Buying a 1.0 ecoboost that needs a new engine when its only 18 month old is a 'dud car'

Back to your problem. Has the windscreen ever been replaced at anytime ? The clear gel-like pad that sticks the IPMA to the screen can sometimes start to come away which stops AHB working correctly.

Hi

No the winescreen has not been replaced, but problems lie further with this car , high brake light failed, a/c pulley became detached,  car for no reason went into limp mode, the list goes on, but thanks for replying
