Ford Transit MK7 DPF problems

Featured Replies

Hi,

I had off car DPF cleaning done. The company provided me with the following before and after results.

All was good for 10 min before the dash light came back on with the p244B error.

Is the flow rate after the cleaning ok?

Is the issue somewhere else?

Please help.

Kind regards,

Eddie

Fuel vaporiser most likely blocked so it can't get hot enough to do a regen.

No idea on those figures, but to me it looks like the flow is worse after the clean.

Do you have a Transit or Transit Custom and which engine do you have? 2.2?

vaporiser was cleaned too.

After reinstalling the dpf all was good for 10 min.

The engine didn't even got up to temperature.

I have checked the voltage on DPF pressure sensor.

Reference wire shows 5 volts and signal wire 4.75 volt with ignition in accessory mode.

When sensor is disconnected both wires show 5 volts.

Does that mean the pressure sensor is dead?
