Still didn't find it. Noise came back. But everytime when I work on something under the hood the noise seems to be gone for a while.....

I just registered to share my experience. I have MK4 2019 1.5TDCI and vibration /rettle sound was making me crazy . My issue was 2 heating pipes that are entering cockpit, I just shoved a small piece of styrofoam in between them until my plastic clamp arrives. Sound completely dissapeared. Very happy.

Hi! i was wondering, doe's anyone got the part number of that plastic clamp for the 2 heating pipes in the engine bay?

Ford Clip 1069203

Actually it is Clip 1556973.

Just Google and check the pictures of the clip

Thank you all for this post. Just bought a Focus Mk4 1.5 Ecoblue and the vibration noise I was getting from somewhere behind the dashboard was driving me crazy, happened around 1500rpm and went away as the revs increased.  The clips were indeed missing from the two heater pipes. As a temporary fix I put foam pipe insulation around both and the noise has completely disappeared. I would never have found this out without your posts.

Hi! I have metal noises from under the hood, or from the same things what you wrote, the gear selector, I think. My noises appear between 2800-3000rpm, and just for checking I made a video about the noises... Did you hear the same noises? It is appear if I'm accelerating hard, and this is really annoying me.

Hi, I do not recognize the sound from the video. Do you also hear it when the engine is warm?

The sound from gear shifting is only there when shifting. Although there was a moment when I thought it was the shifting cable vibrating when accelerating.

It could be the radiator hoses running to the heating element in your car.

No, its not the radiator hoses, it is a facelift version where they pay attention to this issue. You can hear the metal noise between 2800-3000 rpm on hard acceleration on the video... buzz/rattle something, but just under load, and not on idle or neutral, so my thoughts was your idea, the rods of the transmission...

Hi, I have the same issue but around 2500rpm, have you found the solution?
