Hi everyone,

I have a quick question which I couldn’t find an answer for.

I have a 2011 mk3 Focus with basic bvc stereo. 
I'm trying to upgrade the blue dot matrix screen to a colour screen. I was under the impression it was a plug and play upgrade. 
So I got hold of a colour screen and plugged it in but now the screen is just black other than time and date and the stereo does not come on. 
I'm guessing there are actually compatibility issues which I wasn’t aware of?

Anyone know what the problem could be?
