Ecoboost

Featured Replies

I have 2017 Ford Focus Ecoboost, I've recently change the engine as there was a problem with old engine however old engine would still start. No I have replaced it with a new engine for some unknown reason there is no spark going to the spark plugs does anybody have a clue what is going on

Is this a 1.0 Ecoboost ?

Did you change any of the modules over at the same time as the engine ?

Turbo all the senses what time they are ready change some of them like the crankshaft sensor after the engine wouldn't start

Sorry all senors were already on the engine, after the car didnt start due no sparks coming from the spark plug we change the crankshaft sensor to no avail

What engine is it ?

You can not swap an engine without making some programming changes to various modules. For example the ECU, BCM.

Have you used FORScan to check for DTC's ?
