Radiator/cooling fan constantly on

Featured Replies

Hi, my radiator fan is constantly on, regardless of temperature.

Turns on 1minute after engine start and stop when I switch off the engine.

Dash temp display works fine.

A/C off and Forscan don't shows any errors, only one think worry me is the temperature reading

ECT - engine coolant temperature / 32*C

ECT1- engine coolant temperature sensor 1 / 32*C

ECT2- engine coolant temperature sensor 2 / -40*C

Anyone got knowledge of ECT2 location in engine bay or any suggestion how to resolve the problem ?

Thank you

I'm facing the same issue for a 62 plate Ecoboost. How did you solve this problem? My ECT temp reaches 103*C and Cooling Fan is on MAX
