Exhaust rubber change.

Hi. 

Long story but I have an ongoing issue with my exhaust rubbers wearing out on my Focus 1.6 Titanium,61 plate.

Through the garage I bought the car from fitting a pattern double catalytic converter downpipe that was ill fitting from the start the rubbers where the two metal stabilisers are attached don't line up exactly and damage the rubbers every 6 months or so. 

I'm now at that stage again and wondered if it was a DIY job to change the rubbers or does it really need a garage to tackle it?

I've attached some photos of the wear.
