2008 galaxy 1.8 tdci electronic control module location

Featured Replies

Any one know were the ECM(electronic control module) is in a 2008 ford galaxy 1.8 tdci. There one under the passanger side foot well but I'm not sure if there is another one in the engine bay, ECM fault code says it's corrupted along with over 20 to 30  other random codes . Also it starting to jerk at low speeds.

Cheers

Behind the n/s front inner arch liner. Wheel off , inner plastic arch liner off and you will see it . There probably will be 3 or 4 security bolts that holds the cover on to stop tampering of ECM connectors

Thanks I'll have a look over the weekend, will it need to be remapped? im replacing it woth  2nd hand one, never changed  ecu/ecm so I'm not sure if it's just a simple swap and go.

Cheers

Will not be swap and go as far as im aware. The ECM will need programming.
