Focus upgrade to st spoiler question

Hi all,

i have the st spoiler fitted but not wired as its a different connection. Am i right in thinking i need to get the attached loom to connect it? (Tailgate jumper)

Car is a 2010 mk2.5

When I had a MK2 I just cut the plug off the end and used spade connectors and taped it up and it was fine. More info here

Just used what was there and it worked for years
