I've recently bought a Ford focus 05 plate,  car runs smooth and no lights are on the dashboard. But when I'm driving and go over a bump or something a 1 or 2 second beep keeps sounding and its really annoying any ideas??

    Have you got a dash cam fitted?

    The boss fitted one to the coach I regularly drive and the camera does exactly that. Above a preset g level the camera starts up and records about 20 secs before and about 60secs after the event. The camera is not fit for purpose, you can do an awful lot of damage to a 18 ton coach without reaching any significant g level at all.

    I don't think there's a dash cam but there's an android radio been put in so I don't know if it's anything to do with that haha

    You just need to turn the volume up - the 'beep will no longer annoy you! 🤣

    A door latch would be more of a mechanical sound, is it an electronic type 'beep'?
