Ford focus 1.6 diesal

Featured Replies

Have a 2009 ford focus 1.6 diesal . Drives fine untill ya put foot down around 50 - 60 mph then engine malfunction comes up and loss of power. The faults on diag are p1103 maf sensor voltage shows air flow under expected and p0299 turbo underboost . The turbo itself is very oily in the pipes but no play in turbine and vains look okay and actuator is moving as it should.  Any ideas ? Tia

Hello pal, just wondering if you ever got to the bottom of your issue? Thank you

@Danielk226 is a one post wonder. You are unlikely to get a reply.

Bit unfair calling him a one-post wonder. He didn't get any replies so probably thought it was a waste of time.

Makes them a "One Post Wonder" in my book. What if later that very same day or even the next day there had been 20 or more replies with some really good answers?  Daniel would never know since they never came back to look.

The only reason I highlight these posters is so that others like Everson38 don't waste their time checking back for an answer which is very unlikely to happen.

It might be that Daniel enabled email notificaions in which case since he wouldn't have got one he gave up on it. Ok, you could argue he should have logged back in to check (and read other interesting threads like the rest of us do) but maybe he was only interested in an answer to his specific problem. We have to accept that not everyone is an avid Ford enthusiast.
