Hey guys new to this I got a ford fiesta zetec s black edition 2014 with 70k miles had it 5 months and 2 gearboxes have gone wrong on me i think it's the synchromesh I think the car has more power than they can handle. Dose anyone know what gearbox I can put into it that is more powerful maybe a straight swap gearbox. Thanks in advance.

    This topic crops up frequently on ecoboost Fiestas, usually 140s particularly if remapped, but members have reported it happening in unmodded cars also.

    A good thread here on fitting a stronger Focus six speed but as you can see not a straight swap:

    Another possibility might be the 6 speed box (6MTT215) as fitted to the Mk 8 Fiesta which might be becoming available in breakers by now. Don't know if anyone has tried it yet?
