MK4 120ps 1.5 ecoblue max torque & power revs

Featured Replies

So - I have the car and having now towed with it a couple of times it lives up to expectations.

But I always like to know odd bits of info so I can check how a car behaves.

So as regards the engine torque and power - where are they?

For example, if I look at my previous car, a Skoda Rapid 1.6tdi, its power was 90 bhp @ 4200rpm, and torque was 230nm @ 1500-2500 so I knew where to keep the revs esp. under difficult towing conditions, and where I could expect it to run out of steam (so when it was under warranty I could monitor and complain if necessary). Vauxhall produce similar information.

But for the Ford engines you don't get this - the brochure shows 120ps, and 300nm - but where? (Can't find it in the owners handbook).

Is someone can point me to this info I'll find it very useful, thanks.
