Power steering pipes

Hi in the process of fitting new power steering pipes and for the life of me can't get the pipe into the pump as its the one with the suicide nut on it it just won't go in heeelp plz focus 09 1.6 petrol8

The nut it designed to be single use.  It must be screwed into the pump and only then should the pipe be pushed through it.  

Have you pushed the nut onto the pipe before fitting?

In this video the guy removes the pump which makes it look easier but a bit of dismantling first.

Hmm, should just push in, although you do need a bit of force behind it and it needs to go in straight.  Have you clipped the pipe in place yet?  Might be easier with a bit of movement on the pipes if so.
