ford fiesta st-line 2019 mark 8 power point cigar lighter fuse

Featured Replies

Hi

I am trying to locate the front auxiliary power point/cigar lighter fuse for my ford fiesta St line mark 8 its a 2019 which has stopped working.

The issue I have is the fuse is indicated in my owners manual located under the bonnet at location 83 and to be a 20A a mini blade fuse.

I looked in the fuse box under the bonnet and the layout is completely different form the one indicated in the diagram.

I'm assuming my owners manual is the wrong one for the car its dated 2018.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you post a photo of your engine bay fusebox please ?

According to all the Ford Fiesta UK / Europe Fusebox information they have used the same fusebox on all the 2018, 2019, 2020 models.

Yes I'll get you a photo. Location 83 doesn't have a fuse in it along with a lot of the other fuses indicated in the owners manual which is a bit baffling

I used a car tyre inflator and I think this has blown the fuse so I did the customary look through the manual to locate which one to replace it only to find my book doesn't relate to my fuse box.

You might have the USA fusebox fitted. Post a picture and I see what I can find

What about the layout of this engine bay fuesbox, is this what you have ????

Thank you for the photo. That is in fact the fusebox in my original post, and the fuse for the cigar/aux power socket is number 83.

See the fuse in the RED circle below:

Thanks ever so much for your help mate, sorry I got a bit confused with the glovebox layout and was going off memory I realised when i took the photo it was the one you had stated.

Initially I purchased some micro blade fuses from Halfords only to discover they were to large I've now gone to the Ford parts place an ordered direct from them the 20A fuse which I couldn't find anywhere in shops locally, don't know if anyone here knows the part number for future reference the 20amp blue fuse number but as you can its a different size in width more boxy.

I have one last question is there a special tool to pull the micro fuses out or is it just brute force and a pair of pliers, as I am struggling to pull them out even after buying a fuse remover from Halfords which I am guessing even though I asked specifically "is it for micro fuses" was for standard fuses.

Cheers again.

Hi

For future reference the 20a blue fuse slightly bigger than the yellow 20a fuse and also totally different to what I was initially told by Halfords would work its avery small micro fuse.

The Ford Dealership  tried to charge me £40 pounds to look at the issue, the cost of the fuse was £4.95 and took 2 minutes once I worked out you had to flip the fuse box over once removed from the housing.

Thanks Unofix for your help.

In the engine bay there is a black box on the right with a black cover over it. Unclip the cover and you will see 2 large wiring harness connectors, unclip and remove the connectors out the way. Then unclip the black box, removing the fusebox. All the fuses are under a plastic cover

Ah got it, underneath....🥴

Thank you

Hi All

I would like to ask , if anybody knows where is windshield pump fuse fiesta 2019 1.5Diesel.

Thanks

There is no fuse for the windscreen pump. It is controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM).

Thanks

It stops work after freezing, it means it is damaged?
