Really stupid how do you release focus door panel clips so you can re-use

Featured Replies

Type are 1257376. Have purchased some new ones but only enough for any broken ones. Have just got a new one out the packet and press it to the locked position expecting to be able to press it back but they seem to lock. Is there a knack to releasing them as it appears like I have not got the knack :-)

I have a better set than that the issue is with the actual clips themselves. New clips the barbs that hold it to the door frame are not engaged until the door is pressed home, the question is are they one time use as I cannot seem to disengage the barbs to the released position once the door is off. Yes I know you can bang the door and hope that they squash enough and you dont break the white retainers in the process which is why if there is a way to have the clips in a relaxed position I would like to know :-)
