Sony DAB radio unavailable

Hello, im looking for some help regarding the Sony radio/ satnav/ dab upgrade.

Just fitted the DAB capable headunit, Sony facia panel and 5 inch colour sat nav screen following this guide. Successfully edited the config in forscan to tell the car to use the new screen which set my speedo back to MPH and changed the setting to enable the navigation system. I also enabled the "Digital Radio Receiver" setting to tell the car that there is now a DAB radio installed which was what @Luke4efcdid in this guide. My issue is now that even after following those steps the DAB 1 and DAB 2 selections just dont appear when pressing the radio button on the facia. Luke said that his just worked without any additional ariel, but there is a black fakra port on the back of the radio which i believe can facilitate a DAB ariel. 

I did find a setting in forscan called "In Car Entertainment" but i dont just want to change that setting without knowing what it changes. 

Is it a case of trying one of the options under the in car entertainment or would fitting a seperate dab ariel to the back of the radio help in this scenario?
