2003 Focus Zetec SE Belt Tensioner

Featured Replies

Hey, this belt tensioner needs replacing and I'm wondering if I've found the right one as seen in the picture?

Has anyone got any experience with replacing these?  I've managed to get 2 bolts out, but I'm assuming there's 2 or 3 more based on that stock photo.  What's the best way to get it out?

Thanks <3

Not sure if same as mine was. I had 2001 focus mk2 1.6 petrol with aircon. I had to change the tensioner . It was between the engine block and power steering pump. The power steering pump had to be unbolted to release the tensioner.  Without aircon the power steering was ahead of the engine instead of behind it. Mine was mk1 not mk1.5.  Don’t know if any difference between mk1 and 1.5.
