Location of BCM in 2009 Ford Focus?

Featured Replies

Hello all, would anyone be able to describe where the BCM in a 2009 Ford Focus would be? I was trying to locate it using other year models but it is not in those spots.

Directly under the glovebox.

I agree. It looks like a fuse box but has circuit board / computer chips inside it.

The BCM is the back section of the passenger compartment fusebox.

Examples of what it looks like:

In fact the Focus MK2/MK2.5 does have a GEM (General Electronics Module) and not a BCM (Body Control Module).

They may look the same but a GEM is not nearly as advanced as a BCM.
