Mk 2 07 Plate Radio Unresponsive

Featured Replies

Hi all! Hopefully can get some advice. So far all I've received from the garage are suggestions to go to the main dealer but I'd rather not deal with them again...

After having some battery and immobilizer fuse issues, the radio is dead. Unresponsive, totally dead.

I've tried changing the fuse in the passenger foot well (F68) with no joy.

How can I check whether it's the fuse which is blown, or whether it's the whole radio that has packed it in? How do I test that?

Any help would be much appreciated thank you! Any additional information needed please let me know

I think you need to find a good Auto Electrician or an Auto Electronics Technician and get them to take a look at it.

Have you got a multimeter ?

That's fair, I was probably being a bit ambitious in hoping I could fix it myself.

I haven't got a multimeter

is it the red or green display ..there's more than one fuse feed to the radio ..15a plus 7.5a ..  fuse numbers/locations are in the owners handbook audio modules battery supply F112 and F108 accessory to cluster audio and navigation
