Anyone having. Problems with it today?

Think mine has went doolally, it showing the car is about 8 miles away when it's really sitting in my driveway. Tried logging out & in, checked location permissions for app is enabled. Not much use when I forget where I parked it after a few bevvies. 😜😜😁

My FordPass is working ok at the moment, I use mine with my transit custom. It still shows it on my drive

Just uninstall Ed of my android phone, powered it down, switched on again and re-installed the app.  Still stuck 8 miles away🙄

The car location is based on where the car reports that it is. The app is just showing you what the ford servers have logged. Doing anything with the app will not change the location the car is reporting.

So problem is ford's server cache needing cleared?

The car just may not have uploaded its last location. Could be signal issue or low battery as it shutdown. I wouldn’t worry unless it does it regularly. Mine will occasionally not update. Especially if it’s a short journey

It could be the car currently hasn’t got a signal to update the cars location

I've got the same issue, but with a Ranger, not a Fiesta.  None of the data is showing, so I'm at a loss.

Hi George, the only time my transit hasn’t reported the details, is when it is parked at the side of my house and the van cannot get a signal to report with. I will have a look and see if I can think of anything else and let you know.

Hi George, this link may help you with resolving you location problem with your Ranger

https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/fordpass/troubleshooting/how-do-i-troubleshoot-vehicle-location-issues-with-the-fordpass-app/

2 key things are having Sync3 enabled on your Ranger and also having a Ford Pass Connect modem installed, from what I can see.

I hope this helps
