2014 Ford Focus 1l EcoBoost Issues - Looking for some help.

I have just recently bought a 2014 Focus 1l EcoBoost, I keep getting "Service Engine now" Errors along with loss of power, OBD brings back p0234:22 over boosting codes.

When driving the car as carefully as I can best MPG I can get is 33. Not sure if it is relevant but thought id ask with it doing something to make the engine ***** itself.

I have a friend with a Bmax with same engine but gets close to 45mpg so not sure if cars been messed with and just looking for some guidance on where to start!
