new focus st-line x footwell lights

Hi Guys

Hope you can help, i have just purchased a 69 plate st-line x, but have noticed there are no lights in the footwell..it has lights by the light console and drinks console but none in the footwell.

Can anyone confirm if this how it shoud be as in the manual it says ambient settings but there is no settings on the dash menu.

    It doesn't have footwell or door bin ambient lighting.

    Also have a 69 plate STLX , same lack of ambient lighting.

    Wow, Can't believe that....something so simple as footwell lights yet not got them.

    Looks like i will have to try retro fit some myself, poor from ford tho
