Radio Acm amp question. Mk3 with sync2

Featured Replies

Hello .

I have a 2016 focus with sync 2

Installed an external dsp amp and speakers.

Playing on higher levels and mainly when there are more high tones the speakers crack . All of them.

Other speakers and amp no difference.

Problem can be in the original head unit. Mainly how the amp flattens the signal at higher levels.

This is why i need to know what kind of amp is being used in the original unit . Knowing this may help adjusting the new amp or changing it to a different one that can work with that signal better

The 6, 8 and 9-speaker High Level audio systems have a NXP 70009AR amplifier IC.
