Clutch biting point 1.6 tdci

Featured Replies

Hi all,

the biting point on the 1.6 tdci mk2.5 I’ve recently bought is very high. The last 2 inches of travel. Is this normal? No signs of slip, just feels so unnatural. Cars done 87k

I’ve read elsewhere that it may be a trait of all foci but want to confirm.

cheers!

Yep, standard Mk2 Focus quirk!  Good news is you should get used to it quickly.  Then you'll stall the next manual car you get in.

Great news, thanks. Didn’t fancy a clutch and dual mass flywheel a month afternoon buying it!
