As you know im doing my tailgate, i took the third brake light out and the gasket dissolved, can you buy replacements or is it a bodge job with glaziers foam tape whats its name or part number .... Thanks

    I think if I remember right, the gasket is only supplied with the brake light fitting and it's not available as a separate part.

    i had the same problem when i changed the bulbs .. i used some foam draught excluder from a roll and a good dollop of silacone grease

    Eeeeeeeek, will go with the bodge fix, maybe upgrade the bulbs, as i have a shadow sticker to go on the outside.
