Was just checking the cabin filter in the passenger side footwell. Then I see this in the driver side footwell, above the pedals... I got the car in december this year.

should'nt there be trim/a cover here? If so, any ide the part number?

    Mine looks the same as yours.

    When you ask about a missing part, are you talking about the bits that Tom has referred to or are you expecting to see a bit of "carpet" hiding the pedal mechanism?

    yes, i thought there would be a panel or something like on the passenger side hiding the pedal bars and steering shaft ball joint and insulation

    No, that's just how they are.

    (PS - Can you reduce the image size in your signature a bit please?  May look different on your device but it's huge when viewed on PC.)
