Chris_Galaxy
Hi , Looking to refill the aircon on my 2016 2.0D. I can't see the normal sticker that tells me the correct details and there are no markings on the two connectors .. any one know where I can check this info and which of the 2 pipes to connect to ? thanks Chris

From that date, cars use R1234yf, previous to that, cars used, R134a gas. Don't trust my sole input though, wait till someone clever has a definitive answer!
iantt
I'm the clever one to the rescue. On the galaxy, the change over dates for the 134a to 1234yf was build date 20/6/2016 The connectors for high and low pressure are different sizes and can't be mixed up. That goes for both gas types. Also different connectors for each type of gas. It should be idiot proof. The amount of gas is dependant on which gas type and wether front , or front and rear Aircon. Basically I would leave it to an air con specialist who can check for leaks before putting gas in to do the job. 1
