2013 focus 1lt ecoboost

Featured Replies

Hi looking for some advice please…

long story short- i have a focus 2013 plate 1lt ecoboost which has recently had a new engine block fitted at a ford dealership following diagnostics that concluded coolant pipe leak had caused the damage. With in 2 days of having the car back it went in to limp mode, the automatic start/stop was off and wouldn’t come on and I noticed patches of oil on the ground. Car went back to the same dealership to be looked at- they have now come back and said that they found the oil leak and have ordered some seals however there is a turbo fault code showing up… I had no problems with the turbo before i had a new engine and the garage didn’t mention anything about the turbo during the 8weeks that the car was in with them and all the diagnostics they had to do?? Could this have been cause during che work that was done to change the engine block or would the oil leak have affected the turbo?

any help/advice welcomed. Thanks in advance.
