I’m confused with this prop shaft on my 89 van it seems to have a hydraulic part at the middle that has failed and make it fall off and can easily be taken off by hand do I get the hydraulic bit fixed or do I need a new one

    I'm confused too.  What would the hydraulic part be for?  There is a centre support bearing that might have failed, but I can't think of a hydraulic part.  Don't suppose you've got a picture?
