chrishill
Hi I’m hoping someone can help me with a mystery I have regarding my 2012 Ford Focus. The car came with a rear camera when I bought it but recently the camera stopped working. I contacted Ford (in Portugal where I was at the time). They said they could fix it but it would cost over 1000 euros so not ideal. I took it to a specialist camera installer in Nottingham who were very helpful but they said they could not get a camera that would tap into the SYNC system (and be visible on the dashboard screen as per before) but rather have an additional screen which again would not be ideal. So as yet, i cannot find anyone who can repair the camera. Some people believe it is an official Ford aftermarket part and some say that it doesnt look like Ford installed the camera as the camera is not standard on my model (2012 Titanium) so I'm a bit lost. Can anyone help?

So it's entirely possible that it IS a genuine Ford camera, I would say.
