Ford Focus 1.6 MK1 Brakes upgrade

Hi there,

I have a 1.6 mk1 focus and the front brake pads are slowly on there way out, the discs have seen better days so I have been looking at replacing them and possibly upgrading.

I'm not looking for anything fancy as it's just a 1.6 I don't need huge stopping power. I have seen Brembo do a nice set of discs relatively cheap as well as pads. Not sure how good they would be as Brembo is usually on the high end stuff and rarely see them on a 1.6

Anyone able to let me know what the best option would be?
