Deep sleep mode & Sync updates

issues with car going into deep sleep mode. Was a problem Nov & Dec 2021 where Ford said battery is just low as not used so managed to get a free replacement after raising a complaint.  Now issues again! can go on a long motorway journey to charge it up come home and then overnight Ford Pass is telling me Deep sleep mode activated again. Or can drive it to work, park up and 5 minutes later the message appears again.

 

is it a case of just charging it up constantly, or something is a problem?

 

the car has very recently had a ABS problem resolved due to a fault code and a new tcu for the emergency call assist malfunction. On top of that even though it shows a Sync and Maps update available on the Ford account website it doesn’t appear to download when using the check for updates option. Have also tried to update it manually via a USB but that also doesn’t work.

 

in all honesty, getting rather frustrated with all the issues.

    The TCU fault drains the battery. If that’s now fixed I’d expect it to behave better once the battery is recharged.
