After  a few hundred miles in my new ford kuga  vignale   i had electronic  hand brake warning light  parking brake limited   function service required i took to dealership   they said no fault found   ,has anyone had this problem ?  its has  happened   6 times in less than 500 miles and the brake pedal goes spongey  for a few seconds  each time .the dealer cannot find a fault .

 

 

Any ideas .?

Hi we also have a 2022 ford Kuga Vignale with the same problem, took it to the dealership today and they also said no fault found !! even gave them a photo of the of the display but as it was not recorded as a fault code on the cars diagnostic system they palmed it off. I did suggest to the dealership I should carry 2 bricks to put behind the rear wheels to ensure the car doesn't roll away on a slope, and explained the handbrake is a critical safety function of any car to no avail .Do we believe the cars onboard safety systems or the dealerships technicians ?? If my car had this warning display on during an MOT if would fail so how can the Ford Dealership say it ok,makes you wonder

Did anything more happen we got the Kuga ST Line X 2.5l Phev with the same parking break issue. The technicians could not find the fault on diagnostics although they have seen it on the Ford pass app so they know it exists. Also some ECR error too. Had the car 1 month brand new!
