Windscreen cracked what's the cos

Hi my ford focus 2017 titanium x has developed a crack in the front windscreen and I can't find a price to compare any ideas uk

If you've got glass cover on insurance it should be under £100 excess.

Although you still have to declare it, a windscreen claim doesn’t affect your premium like a normal claim does.

 my insurance premium by about £30 per year for the next five years.

Still only £150, much less than paying for it yourself.

If the crack is outside of the mot failure zone you could just leave it as is, I would.

I had windscreen replaced by my insurance for one off excess of £75 but then another £75 calibration of speeds sensors. 

If it's a chip like mine it will spread if left. The windscreen guy said next time if this happens. Clean the area and cover with some clear tape.
