Replace and fit new alloys

Featured Replies

Ford Focus 2014 1.0l eco boost.

Hi - three tyres losing air slowly- local garage found corrosion on inner rims of all four alloys.

Sanded down and sealed but problem persists in 2 tyres plus one non TPMS replaced with standard valve.

Really fed up with it- how much to fit four new alloys at Ford and have done with it please (17” 2x 10 spoke)

Thank you

Cost very much depends on what wheels you want.

Anything from £600 to £2000 for a set of 4. Or you could just get them fully refurbished for about £400 for 4 wheels

Thanks Unofix

Assumed too far gone to refurb? This is what the local mechanic tried but two still leaking air ( more slowly) or was that a quick bodge job?

A specialist alloy place or Ford?

Also problem with the tpms valve- do these have to be replaced at Ford?

Any specialist alloy wheel refurbishment company should be able to restore them to like new. Never ever think of taking them to a Ford dealer.

Thank you- point taken 😁

Had mine refurbished here:

The 17 Inch 10x2 Spoke Y-design Focus MK3 wheels (Finis 1698634) are not that expensive from Ford. They are currently sold for £195.99 a piece. Some other design original 17 Inch wheels have the same price.

Alloy Wheel 17" 10 x 2-spoke Y-design, silver - 1698634 (ford.co.uk)

This price does not include wheel nuts, center caps, tyre valves, TPMS sensors and fitting.
