Ford Focus MK3.5 - Wiring loom in the way of cabin air filter

Featured Replies

I actually have three questions, pertaining to my Focus MK3.5 (2016):

1. I'm trying to get my cabin air filter out, but I'm being blocked by a wiring loom in front of it. Can it be unplugged without disconnecting the battery first? The reason I ask this is because I'm not sure if it's related to the RCM and don't want to risk deploying an airbag. I know it might be a stupid question, but I just want to err on the side of caution. I've attached a picture. It's the loom outlined in blue.  All the videos I see online show that loom being hidden behind the filter, so I'm not sure why this one is attached to a white/translucent plastic piece.

2. I accidentally snapped the "fastener" (not sure what it's actually called) on the panel (see first picture, it's outlined in orange), so I cannot secure the panel back in place. Does anyone know what this fastener and panel is called and where I can buy either one from? I've attached another picture of the fastener and panel.

3. The reason I took that panel off is because I'm looking for the evaporator drainage tube (I can't get under the car so I'm locating it this way). I can't find it on the passenger side. Is it on the other panel on the driver side?
