Hello,

I have a Mk3 Focus estate, and need to move a load of heavy building materials. Just wondering what is the maximum weight I could safely carry in it?

This would be with back seats down, and load evenly spread across the boot and rear passenger area.

Can anyone advise? Thanks

    The load index on the tyres might be relevant. I can’t really advise you on anything else

    Check the VIN plate on the door post.   My GUESS: Possible max load of around 500Kg
