Focus ST-Line - Registered 2019 - Service Schedule

Featured Replies

My Focus is coming up to the ripe old age of 3.

Im struggling to find a service schedule anywhere.

I have done 22k miles and just got a notifictaion from the dealer that the service is due.  The only guide I have is the oil life is still at 45%.

Advice anyone?

are you sure ? I make it 15 years for a 2007 Focus. 🤔 I think your profile might be out of date.

Assuming of course it is a 2019, then there is not a 3 year service, they are every 2. If you have the Ecoboom 1.0 engine then an oil and filter change once a year is a good idea but a full Ford service is not an actual requirement. 😉

OOoh I didn realise that.  I service last year so good for another.

Many thanks :)

I was amazed that the first service from new, was 2 years, going back quite a few years, the yearly service was important to change filter and oil, I even remember signs in rear windows saying running in, I'm guessing the engines aren't as tight as they used to be.

Engineering precision is now so good that there's nothing to 'wear' during a running in period.

Although you don't need a service, the car will need an MOT at 3 years old.  I'd suggest having the MOT done a month or so early, that way if there is anything to fail, it could be covered under manufacturer warranty.
