My computer sync3 system is shot to pieces since ford took it in for a recall 

Its unresponsive  Bluetooth drop in and out back to phone.

With the Sat navigation I'm driving west along the M4

The map is showing me in the English channel 2 thirds in the sea nearly reaching France Gps is crossed out..

anyone sorted out this problem yet??

    Well you are not the first to say similar.

    If you feel the system is totally screwed up the quickest and simplest way to recover is to use the CyanLabs website and follow there excellent instructions. Use the re-format tool to clear Sync3 and download all files direct from CyanLabs.

    These are the same files and maps as you get from Ford. Very often they are actually newer than the current Ford files, which get released a few months later.

    I totally agree with Unofix, the Cyanlabs way is the way to go. I have updated mine to 3.4 and latest maps with it, a lot easier than the Ford Sync website.
