Featured Replies

I have a 2010 ford focus Diesel 1.6 i bought over half a year ago and have been having problems since,Ive changed the EGR with a new one,MAS among other things,I keep losing power for the last 6 months when i start off its losing power, when i get up to 80-100km its fine for awhile then engine malfunction light comes on,Was told i need a new engine because we're only running on 2 cylinders but i think the fault is more electrical, any help would be great!

In a way that is good, at least there will be DTC's stored which will give a good indication of the problem(s).

Always use FORScan to check for Ford specific DTC's as generic code readers (even good ones) do not often read all the Ford codes.

Once you have the DTC's then it will be much easier to advise you on the faults and if and how they can be fixed.

FORScan (it's free for use on a laptop): https://forscan.org/download.html
