My Galaxy has BT phone conectivity but not streaming and I am looking to upgrade it with this model 8M5T-19C112-AR.

Anybody have experience of these, and is it worth it.

    They are quite a decent unit, easy to use. I've had a couple of cars with them in. You can still get 2022 SatNav CD's for them on eBay.

    I've got the new unit connected, I now need to enrol at nightschool for an ELMconfig school, should be done in a year or so. 🙂

    Best diagnostic software is FORScan and it's free for use on a laptop. You will need a good ELM327(modified) cable to connect with.

    I now have the new module 8M5T-19C112-AT fitted. I have tried ELMconfig and Forscan to look for possible configurations but with no luck.

    I followed this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaJvYUhvoOY,   

    He uses a unit with AR at the end, the only one I could get has AT at the end. I guess the model number go up, I started with AG.

    No luck yet. I am trying to get bluetooth streaming. I tried in Forscan but can't see a relevant setting.
