I just filled my tank up on my 1.6 and looked to see how many miles till empty, 262 seems very low, i reset the mpg, avegage speed etc, does 262 seem about right, thanks

    Yes, about right. You'll achieve more than that so don't rely on it, do a proper MPG test for your car/driving, then on fill up, reset your odometer to zero, much more reliable as 'fuel computers' are little more than a gimmick...
